Returns & Refunds
New merch (hats, apparel)
We want you stoked on your gear. Unworn, unused merch in original condition may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of receipt. To start a return, contact us with your order details. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer unless the item arrived defective or incorrect.
Defective or incorrect items
If your item arrives defective, damaged, or we sent the wrong product, we'll make it right at no cost to you — just reach out within 14 days with a photo.
Refund processing
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method once we receive and inspect the returned item. Please allow a few business days for processing.
Used gear is final sale. See the Used Gear Disclaimer below — pre-owned items are sold as-is and are not eligible for return.
Shipping & Fulfillment
Local pickup
We're Kansas City based and offer free local pickup in the KC metro area. We'll coordinate a time and place when you order.
Shipping
For orders outside the local area, we offer flat-rate shipping calculated at checkout or arranged directly. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We'll provide tracking when available.
Buying multiple items
Each item is purchased through its own checkout. If you'd like more than one piece, just email or text us and we'll combine everything into a single order with combined shipping — it's usually cheaper that way, and we're happy to make it easy.
Processing time
Pre-order and made-to-order items may take additional time — we'll always give you an honest estimate. In-stock items typically ship or are ready for pickup within a few business days.
Lost or damaged shipments
Once an item is handed to the carrier, delivery is in their hands. We'll help you track down a lost package, but KCFW is not responsible for carrier delays, loss, or damage. Consider this when choosing shipping vs. local pickup.
Used Gear Disclaimer
Our Used Gear section features pre-owned fishing tackle from the KCFW collection and personal inventory.
- Sold as-is. All used gear is sold in its current condition with no warranty, express or implied.
- Described honestly. We describe and photograph condition to the best of our ability, including any known flaws, scuffs, or wear. Cosmetic and mechanical condition ratings are our honest assessment, not a guarantee.
- No returns. Because these are pre-owned items, all used gear sales are final.
- Inspect before you buy. Local buyers are welcome to inspect items in person before purchase. Questions are always welcome before you commit.
- Payment & pickup. Payment is due at time of pickup or before shipment. We accept cash, Venmo, and PayPal. Local pickup is preferred; shipping is available at the buyer's expense.
